Pam Klein

Pam Klein (she/her) got her start in gender affirming care at the Tom Waddell Clinic in San Francisco in the early 90s, and in 2008 she initiated a Transgender Program at Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. In 2016 she helped initiate Boston Medical Center‘s Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery. Pam co-chairs a Massachusetts governor’s Commission to evaluate and make recommendations for improve health and safety for LGBTQAI prisoners in the state of MA, and is involved in multiple other advocacy efforts. She has taught about gender affirming health both nationally and internationally, and she is indebted to the patients on both U.S. coasts who have inspired her and always will.
