Homelessness can be intertwined with multiple chronic psychosocial stressors, including lack of housing, poverty, lack of family support, major mental illness, trauma, and substance use disorders. All of these conditions contribute to our patients’ significant behavioral health needs, from psychiatric care to mental health counseling to substance use disorder treatment. These services are provided by our team of psychiatrists, clinical social workers, licensed mental health counselors, nurses and nurse practitioners, case managers, addiction specialists, and more, all of whom are dedicated to nonjudgmental, compassionate, high-quality care and harm reduction principles.
