For people experiencing homelessness, housing can seem like the end goal. But people who obtain housing can feel isolated as they find themselves in a new and unfamiliar environment, away from the world that they know. For some folks this isolation and change can lead to depression. If people in this situation reach out for help, and if care providers know how difficult the transition to housing can be, then consumers can receive the care that they need, and the transition to housing can be successful.
