More than $1 million raised for Boston’s Health Care for the Homeless Program
500 guests attended Health Care for the Homeless Program’s annual gala, which honored Boston’s Mayor Marty Walsh for his work with those in the city facing homelessness.
More more than $1 million was raised for its programs. The Medicine That Matters gala was held at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel.
Since 1985, Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program has been dedicated to a singular, powerful mission—to provide or assure access to the highest quality health care for Boston’s homeless men, women and children. Today BHCHP cares for more than 11,000 patients in some 45 locations each year. The organization believes the compassion and dignity we show through our care is Medicine that Matters, and is proud to be known for our innovation and effectiveness in serving our most vulnerable neighbors.
