Jordyn (she/her) is the Data Systems Project Manager for BHCHP’s Behavioral Health Community Partners program, where she previously served for two years as a Care Coordinator.
She studied at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, where she developed her passion for public health and social justice. As a student, Jordyn completed a year-long fellowship that granted her funds to design and implement a local event to promote public health education in Waltham schools. After graduating, Jordyn worked with a consulting agency that helps health care facilities improve patient and staff satisfaction, lower patient wait time, lower no-show rates, and improve clinic workflows.
Outside of her prescribed roles at BHCHP, Jordyn has coordinated Case Management week, been a mentor for an Americorp member, re-wrote BHCHP’s bereavement policy to include a broader and more inclusive definition of “family,” and championed an effort to develop bike-friendly accommodations in staff bathrooms.
Areas of interest: housing first, harm reduction, access to healthcare; and doing anything outside, such as hiking, biking, climbing, and skiing
