Jennifer Brody
Jennifer Brody, MD, MPH, AAHIVS has provided HIV primary care and addictions care for homeless adults at BHCHP since 2009. In 2015, she became the Director of BHCHP’s HIV Program which provides comprehensive medical and behavioral health care as well as intensive case management and outreach services to approximately 300 of Boston’s most vulnerable homeless people living with HIV. In this role, she oversees all HIV-related program planning, implementation, evaluation, and quality improvement activities at BHCHP with the goal to eliminate inequities in HIV outcomes for this vulnerable population.
Dr. Brody is an Instructor of Medicine at the Harvard Medical School and serves as the Director of the Social Justice Curriculum for the Division of General Medicine Primary Care Residency Program at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She teaches medical residents, public health students, and physician colleagues in a variety of forums about the special health care delivery issues for people experiencing homelessness.
Dr. Brody earned her Medical Degree and Master of Public Health Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and completed her primary care internal medicine residency at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She is a certified HIV Specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine, and Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Addiction Medicine.
