Barbara Giles
Barbara Giles, MSN, RN, began her career at BHCHP in 2008 as a staff nurse at the BHCHP Pine Street Inn clinics. She later worked as a nurse educator and associate director of clinical operations/program director of nursing before becoming the organization’s chief operating officer in 2017. Giles has also served as a clinical nursing instructor at MGH Institute of Health Professions, Northeastern University and Yale University. She began her nursing career at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania working in a variety of settings, including the cardo-thoracic surgical intensive care unit and the cardiac catheterization lab. She has served as a volunteer nurse for several medical missions in the U.S. and Haiti. Giles holds an MS in nursing education from Framingham State University and a BS in nursing from Widener University.
