About the Class
Zumba is a great way to stay fit while having fun. The class will include a lively mix of Latin music, other world music, and pop songs, and will last for about an hour including the warm-up and the stretch. Jen uses visual cues to indicate the movements but there are NO WRONG MOVES in Zumba - it's all about moving and having fun, so this is a great opportunity for people who have never tried Zumba before! Make sure you have water handy, gym shoes, and a clear space for your personal dance party (ideally at least 6 feet wide for side-to-side travel and about 4 feet from your device; make sure pets/toddlers/etc. don't wander into your spot!).
About the Instructor
Jen Greer-Morrissey has been teaching Zumba for JRO Fitness in Sudbury, MA for nearly 10 years, and teaching virtual classes since March 2020. Additionally, in her "day" job, Jen works at Tufts University School of Medicine as their Community Service Learning Coordinator, getting medical students involved in volunteer activities throughout Boston (including at BHCHP!)
