Supporting Us Through Your Donor-Advised Fund
A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a philanthropic vehicle established at a public charity. It allows donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax benefit and then recommend grants from the fund over time. One way to think about a donor-advised fund is like a charitable savings account: a donor contributes to the fund as frequently as they like and then recommends grants to their favorite charity when they are ready.
As a qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit, BHCHP is grateful to be considered for contributions through donor-advised funds. This is a convenient and effective way to support our patients and our work.
The video below is an inspiring example of just one of our donors who gives through a donor-advised fund and his reasons for supporting BHCHP. If giving through your donor-advised fund is the right option for you, the DAF Direct tool below can help you initiate a grant recommendation today.
