Caitrin Kelly, a primary care doctor in our Barbara McInnis House medical respite facility, is running her first marathon for Team BHCHP this April. A global medicine fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, she spends half of her clinical time working at BHCHP. Kelly’s work at the organization inspired her to connect her passion for running with her dedication to the organization’s mission by joining the BHCHP’s Boston Marathon Team.

I learned about Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP) by chance, listening to the radio while driving to work about six years ago. A reporter was interviewing a Boston doctor, Jim O’Connell, who had dedicated his career to serving the homeless on the streets of Boston.

When I got to work that morning I made a contribution to BHCHP  – how could I not back that story?

Every year, approximately 30,000 dedicated runners line up in Hopkinton to run the Boston Marathon. Get to know David Goldstein, one of the members of Team BHCHP that's running the 2019 Boston Marathon in support of our patients!
