A Record-Breaking Medicine that Matters Gala!

This past May, we were awed by the depth of generosity our supporters showed at our 8th Annual Medicine that Matters Gala. We had a record-breaking 650+ attendees and raised over $1,056,355 through the support of many generous individuals and corporate sponsors and through the tireless efforts of Gala Co-chairs Maureen and John Hailer, former President and Chief Executive Officer of Natixis Global Asset Management and Linda Pizzuti Henry, Managing Director, The Boston Globe, and co-founder, HUBweek.
We honored Anne Finucane, Vice Chairman, Bank of America & Mike Barnicle, MSNBC Commentator; Kate Walsh, President & CEO, Boston Medical Center; and Dr. Peter Slavin, President, Massachusetts General Hospital; along with a special tribute to Tiffany and David “Big Papi” Ortiz.
A special note of thanks goes to our Presenting Sponsor Natixis Global Asset Management and our Dignity & Respect Providers Bank of America, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital & Partners HealthCare, Herb Chambers, CVS Health, GroupConnect, John & Linda Henry, Hill Holiday, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Jean C. Tempel, Jack & Suzy Welch, and WPP.
We also wish to think our Gala Committee, for all of their hard work in making this year’s event possible. Their leadership and advocacy have been invaluable to us.
The proceeds of the Gala make an incredible difference in our ability to care for our patients, and we could not be more grateful for his outpouring of support.
