Meet Father John Predmore a beloved priest in his community, an oil painter, and photographer! This Boston Marathon will be Father Predmore’s first race ever; his motivation to start running was all inspired by his kind heart and compassion for people experiencing homelessness.
“I wanted to do something practical for [people experiencing] homelessness,” he says, “I felt powerless otherwise. BHCHP is a worthy cause and homelessness has been so prevalent in our City. Every person needs to know they have full citizenship and dignity as a human right.”
As for who will be cheering for him at the finish line? Father Predmore says this, “Im pleased so many people who have made donations are quite investing in my efforts. I don’t expect anyone to be present at the finish line, but I will be carrying my donors, the homeless, and the people of Ukraine with me as I participate in the marathon.” We’ll be out there with cowbells cheering him on!
