BHCHP is the face of health care for Boston's homeless individuals and families. Last year alone,
we delivered services to more than 11,000 homeless men, women, and children.
Over the last 24 years, BHCHP has evolved into the largest and most comprehensive health care for the
homeless program in the country. Our success as a national model results from:
- the commitment of talented professionals and clinicians;
- a strong record of responsible financial stewardship;
- a network of public and private community partnerships; and
- a willingness to take reasonable risks to pursue our mission.
Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program (BHCHP) began in 1985 as one of 19 health care for the homeless
programs funded nationally by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Pew Charitable Trust.
