Volunteer

Volunteers play a critical role at BHCHP. They help out in countless ways, including:

  • Offering recreational activities at our in-patient respite care facility
  • Working behind the scenes in our administrative departments
  • Engaging patients in caring conversations
  • Organizing fundraising events
  • Helping out in our clinics

Who Can Volunteer?

BHCHP volunteers come from all walks of life. Whether you are a student, a retiree, or someone who works full-time, we welcome you as a volunteer. We have weekly, monthly, and one-time service opportunities. Click here to learn more about specific volunteer opportunities.

Internships

We offer a limited number of unpaid internships throughout the year.  These can be terrific opportunities to learn more about health care and homelessness, while contributing your skills and time.  Please note: We no longer have internships available for summer 2008.
