Driving directions from Rte 93 north and south

• Take 93 south/north and get off at the Massachusetts Avenue exit.
• Cross Mass. Avenue and go STRAIGHT on Melnea Cass Blvd.
• Take a LEFT onto Tremont Street. Note: Tremont Street changes name to Columbus Avenue in a couple of blocks.
• Take Columbus Ave. for 1 or 1.5 miles until you reach Washington St. at Egleston Square. This is a very busy intersection.
• BEAR LEFT to stay on Columbus Ave.
• At the second light, go RIGHT on Walnut Ave.
• The McInnis House will be on your RIGHT. It is a large beige building across from the park with a burgundy awning over the front door.
• Park on the street or in the parking lot on the side and behind the building.

Driving directions from the Riverway/Jamaicaway:

• Turn onto Bynner St.
• At the first light, go LEFT on South Huntington.
• Go through one light. Take the next RIGHT on Heath St.
• Go through one light and enter a roundabout. Take the first exit off the roundabout, continuing on Heath St.
• At the next light, go RIGHT on Columbus.
• At the fifth light (Egleston Square) bear LEFT to stay on Columbus.
• At the second light, go RIGHT on Walnut Ave.
• The McInnis House will be on your RIGHT. It is a large beige building across from the park with a burgundy awning over the front door.
• Park on the street or in the parking lot on the side and behind the building.

Public Transportation

Take the Orange Line to Stony Brook Station

To Walk from Stony Brook Station:

• When leaving the station take a LEFT onto Boylston Street.
• Walk up hill (about 4-5 blocks) to the corner of Washington Street and Boylston Street.
• Take a RIGHT onto Washington Street.
• Take a QUICK LEFT onto Iffley Road.
• Walk up the hill to the corner of Iffley Road and Walnut Avenue.
• Take a RIGHT onto Walnut Avenue.
• The Barbara McInnis House is a large beige building with a burgundy awning over the front door.

or... Take the Orange Line to Green Street Station

To Walk from Green Street Station:

• When leaving the station take a RIGHT onto Green Street.
• In about 3 blocks you will come to a major intersection with Washington Street.
• Cross Washington St. and walk straight up the hill. Note: Green Street has changed name and is now called Glen Road.
• Cross Forest Hill Street and continue on Glen Road.
• Take the last LEFT onto Sigourney Ave.
• Note: Sigourney Avenue will change its name to Walnut Ave after 2-3 blocks.
• You will now find yourself on Walnut Avenue. McInnis House is on your left.
• The Barbara McInnis House is a large beige building with a burgundy awning over the front door.

Bus Directions from Jackson Square Station

• Take the Orange Line to Jackson Square Station and take the 22 Ashmont Station bus or the 29 Mattapan bus.
• Ask the driver to leave you at the corner of Walnut Avenue, Columbus Avenue and Seaver Street.
• Take a right onto Walnut Avenue and walk 3-4 blocks from the bus stop.
• The Barbara McInnis House is a large beige building with a burgundy awning over the front door.

Bus Directions from Ashmont Station:

• Take the #22 bus to the intersection of Seaver Street and Walnut Avenue.
• Ask the driver to leave you at the corner of Walnut Avenue, Columbus Avenue and Seaver Street.
• Cross the street and walk down Walnut Avenue.
